Our volunteers have cleared bushes from numerious locations on the Dojran Battlefield. To ensure that these sites remain accessible regular visits are made to cut back new growth. This is a time consuming job, but one we enjoy doing to enable visitors to experience a very unique part of First World War history of the Macedonian Campaign.
Regular cutting of bush ensures access to interesting artefacts.

One of the most frustrating parts of trying to preserve the battlefields is the lack of respect that people have for the environment.
We do what we can to keep it clean...
unfortunately we do not have the heavy
equipment needed to clean up all of this illegally dumped material.
